Donaldson Plastic Surgery gives back to the local community by supporting organizations that are important to our patients and our staff. Our patients include cancer survivors, mothers and fathers, entrepreneurs, sisters and brothers, widows and widowers, athletes and artists who all continue to share their stories with us – and their passion and motivation for improving the world around them.
In 2011, Dr. Jeffrey Donaldson established DPS Cares as a philanthropic extension of his plastic surgery practice in Columbus, Ohio. This charity has created popular events such as the “Likes for Lives” campaign and has donated thousands of dollars to The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, In Christy’s Shoes (Dress for Success) and The OhioHealth Bing Cancer Center. Additional donations have been made to various hospitals, cycling events, walkathons, high school athletics programs and centers for art and discovery.
In 2014, DPS Cares took the next major step in private practice philanthropy by establishing a donor-advised fund at The Columbus Foundation. The Donaldson Plastic Surgery Cares Fund marks an important milestone in our charitable giving program, providing the opportunity to make a larger impact in our community through the Foundation.
We are always interested in causes close to our patients. If you are affiliated with a cause that’s important to you, we invite you to please share your experience with us.
